Endocrine Surgery is a surgical subspecialty that focuses on the surgical treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands. These glands normally secrete hormones that help regulate most bodily functions. Health problems may arise when these glands produce too little or too much of a hormone.
