The pharmacy is onsite for our patients’ convenience and is located near the Cancer Center. Our pharmacists provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care and are trained to assess the patient’s care regimen. They prescribe specific orders and evaluate these orders, including dose adjustments as needed. Our pharmacists also recommend therapies to the healthcare team for supportive care.
Lincoln pharmacists are members of the oncology services interdisciplinary team, which include the Tumor Board and Cancer Committee.
As part of the oncology service, pharmacy services includes dedicated board certified oncology pharmacists, board certified pharmacotherapy specialists and, certified oncology pharmacists and a pharmacy technician who coordinates the Indigent Patient Assistance Program (IPAP), to collaborate with the oncology staff.
